Jonathan Dove said he ‘heard music’ when reading Mansfield Park. With leading British opera librettist and playwright, Alasdair Middleton, he set about adapting this classic novel. This composition is the first completed operatic adaptation of any Jane Austen novel ever to be staged. Anusha performs the role of Mary Crawford performing as part of the Red Cast on the 26th and 30th of March.
